On 24th July, 2010, Pakistan defeated Australia by 3 wickets at Leeds,England which was a neutral venue for both teams. Pakistan was the official home nation to hold the test match but the tour of Australia was transferred to England for security reasons.

It was Pakistan’s first win over Australia in Test Matches in 15 years after way back in 1985. The Pakistani side was captained by Salman Butt in this test match.
