In the 3rd Test match against West Indies at Sharjah, Pakistani batsman Mohammad Amir got run-out in the most hilarious manner.
This incident happened when Amir hit West Indies spinner Devendra Bishoo towards long-on and was looking at his shot while staying in his crease.
He and the non-striker Wahab Riaz thought that the ball would cross the boundary rope, but the fielder Roston Chase caught the ball with one hand inside the boundary and threw it in, since the catch was not clean.
Roston got up and threw the ball towards the skipper Jason Holder, who was standing at the non-striker end to gather the ball and dislodge the bails. And then, Amir realised and started to complete a run which didn’t happen.
